On the edge of Clove Lakes Park in Staten Island’s West Brighton neighborhood. The park its called the Central Park of Staten Island. The fence was recently installed without notice to local government and community organizations. The rally, organized on just 24 hour notice, attracted nearly 100 people. The message was that the fence must be removed, and a more acceptable barrier erected fitting into the character of the park crossing.
