Brooklyn New York , On Saturday, June 1, 2024 at approximately 0258 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a person shot at 2975 Avenue W, within the confines of the 61 Precinct/PSA #1. Upon arrival, officers observed an unconscious and unresponsive 22-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the lower left back. EMS responded and transported the victim to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.
