Hundreds of members of SAG were in LIC on the picket line at Silvercup Studios in LIC, Queens. The union is on strike for several reasons. One of the most important issues is with A.I., Artificial Intelligence. The movie studios are looking to replace actors with A.I. Background actors will work one day and their likeness can be used for any purpose. The actors will not be compensated in the future. All of the major studios will be effective by the strike.
